RDW, I am extremely saddened to hear this, but not surprised. Perhaps your father would accept some sort of sleep therapy, rather than traditional therapy, as more palatable. aafp.org It's worth a try, I think. - Holly

Get him to some elp, RDW, if you can. This sort of thing could ruin the rest of his life and he obviously deserves much better. He's given to us; it's time for us to give back. I'm really sorry to hear this. You and he have my best wishes and will be in my thoughts. P.S. I've joined the "To Hell with Holoday Inn and their associates club". Their part of the Intercontinental Hotel Goup which also owns Intercontinental Hotels, Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites, Indigo Hotels, and Crowne Plaza. They deservwe no better after what they did to him.

RDW.... i'm so sorry to hear that... maybe he should just move back in with you for a while... i know he wanted his own place, but it could be that he really does continue to need your closeness to help him feel safe the more i read about the katrina experience, the more i believe the real tragedy wasn't the storm, but the festering dependency and weakness that the welfare state produced he witnessed the absolute worst of societal degeneration, brought on by state sponsored lackadaisical existence, when pressed hard, simply failed in their humanity and to think nagin is in a runoff.... almost like some bizarro type of stockholm syndrome has set in
