In fact, Shrub not only chose to ignore the briefings on AQ, etc, he chose to deal with the Taliban thruout the summer of '01. And Clinton chose to shoot million dollar Tomahawks at an empty Al Qai'da training camp rather than do what Bush did in response to 9/11. Two US Embassies were bombed by Al Qai'da. That was an ACT OF WAR, as was Bin Laden's Declaration of War in 1996. Now if you want to talk about who fiddled while Rome burned, then you have only to ask why Clinton delayed invading Afghanistan until the Bush administration finally suffered the repercussions of his inaction??
