you have only to ask why Clinton delayed invading Afghanistan until the Bush administration finally suffered the repercussions of his inaction?? Don't need to ask why. The R's never would have let him do it. He would have been doubly crucified. Just one more bit of fallout from Monica. The zeal the right showed towards damaging America worked, eh? There are only 3 groups of people who support what is going on in this country any more. The Havemores, with their insatiable greed who felt that they needed an extra 500K a year to buy pies, and feel that the rest of us should be honored to pay their rent; rent for the army, federal law enforcement, hte coast guard what saves them when their yachts sink,etc. Welfare queens. Then there are the Titanic True Believers, a feeble minded bunch of folks who think the Shrub is God's instrument to rapture them off to heaven. Feeble minded? Next time you see a group of 1000 of them, take a look around and see which 3 are gonna get their wish. 144K out of 50 mil ain't good odds. Especially when you figure non-Americans are probably gonna get the E ticket ride, too. Then there is the group that hates America and what we are and stand for, and would like to see us collapse thru mismanagement, and see their goals as now being achievable. Which group do you belong to? Think I'll burn one of my Cuban cigars in your honor.

Now if you want to talk about who fiddled while Rome burned, then you have only to ask why Clinton delayed invading Afghanistan until the Bush administration finally suffered the repercussions of his inaction?? To say nothing about the over 3,000 people who were killed on 9-11 because Clinton fiddled, nor the thousands of people who were injured on 9-ll, because Clinton fiddled...and to say nothing of the TRILLIONS of dollars that have been spent on trying to plug some of the holes in our infrastructure that let terrorists in with no eyes watching them...because Clinton fiddled.
