"I think LCD is the way to go." I agree with you guys. I've got a buddy who insists his 42" Plasma is superior - but I'm convinced it's just because it's more expensive. Which reminds me of a story. A friend of mine attended a "wine tasting party" with a bunch of yuppies. Before he went, he got some screw top wine that he bought and knew was pretty decent, but poured it in the empty bottle of a much more expensive cork-sealed vintage. All the yuppies praised it to high heaven. Sometimes, people with too much money think that the expense defines the value and the quality. My older brother has made a fortune on this principle alone.
