What about Funeralgate? Or how he fought for stripping the funding for reporting to the EPA? Not to mention "Jesus Day". Or how he drained our Treasury...

I always knew Bush was clueless, and that Cheney was the one running things.

I think its a mistake underestimating Bush. I don't think he's the sharpest tool in the shed and Cheney may well influence him, but he's not clueless. After all, he picked Cheney, Rummie et al to be on his team. I think we are getting exactly what GW Bush thinks his richer constituents want. And since he is a man of few talents, he is working diligently to set himself up for life when he leaves the WH. That means getting a high paying job that uses him for show and tell, and nothing else.
