Hi Jerome,

That's a good list.

I've not pulled the trigger on GM yet,as I do believe they are well on their way to builder more vehicles In Mexico,South Korea and China.

The as yet "BIG" unresolved question is Delphi and the UAW.

These relationships must become competitive and I not sure the union will take the pill.

They may just self destruct - like what happened with Cat in Peoria.

That being the case, Gm will be a screaming buy when/if there is a strike.

I remember GM going to 13-14 back when I was a Junior at GMI(Arab oil embargo of 73-74).

Those numbers haunt me of late.

If they're ever reached again- it will be a play of a lifetime.

Back then I recall my business finance professor took out a second mortgage on his house and bought GM stock.

He told the class he had done that - I always respected him as a truly smart teacher.

Before we graduated,he had paid off both the first and second mortgage on his house.

Neat story.

Best of trades

Bob

Jerome, do you still write calls on your stocks and if so how far out of the money? There's a lot to be said for investing in solid, boring and large companies that way.
