I was a bit torn myself because you just know that those writers were probably behaving like John Belushi in a toga half the time. Gratuitous vulgarity unrelated to the creative process. That was the reason some advocated letting the case go to the jury.

Still, I can't disagree with the outcome.

There are certain to be other similar cases arising in this
setting where there's no creative excuse for the vulgar speech. I predict a different outcome.
