It doesn't look like NGA is coming to Celeron for at least three quarters so it is likely the low Netburst Celeron prices are here to stay.

One of the things I took from the INTC CC was a response by Otellini to a question about choosing between either ASP or market share. His response, quite predictably, was that his top priority was to keep his fabs full. Since volume is in the low-end one would expect that to be where INTC would do its' price cutting. The problem for INTC will be if NGA isn't the homerun INTC seems to be banking on.

To me the possibility of INTC loosing money this quarter is looking more and more real all the time. If NGA isn't able to offset the losses in ASP from low-end pricing cuts then the "looking at the whole company thing" Otellini was talking about becomes reality.

Should that happen you can forget about INTC for awhile as existing plans and Otellini/Bryant become history. Turning points are always fraught with unknowns.
