Americans won't do it.. Not just for tips anyway.. May be minimum wage will draw new immigrants but that is about it..

There are Americans already working at gas stations so they'd certainly do it. This whole debate over what Americans would and would not do stinks as far as I'm concerned. What exactly does that mean? If people have no otherwise marketable or desirable skills, is it less an affront to their dignity to go on the public dole than to flip burgers, clean toilets or mow lawns? In the mid west, there are plenty of vanilla flavored Americans doing exactly those jobs...........
