But except for some diva type professors, I'm not sure the academy has changed that much. Not sure it hasn't either, just suspecting a lot of demonization based on exaggeration of the low-hanging fruit. I think maybe its both. It has changed, but at the same time there is "demonization based on exaggeration of the low-hanging fruit". The extent of the change is not only exaggerated by focusing on the "low-hanging fruit" but also by ignoring the fact that liberal leanings among academics and politicization of universities is nothing new. In my opinion these factors have grown but its a change at the margin, over many years, not a sudden or massive transformation. Tim
