Rink, but 65nm (shipping by end of H206) uses stage 9 "enhanced SiGe", so it is more than reasonable to assume that stage 8 will precede that in time, and that stage is 90nm with "un-enhanced" SiGe.

Rink - Yes, but from that presentation it appears that they'll not continue to tune the 90nm transistors once 65nm is up and running. Of course, necessity may intervene if something goes wrong with 65nm or market conditions require it, but who knows there? No need to create problems where none exist.

Speculation about Fab 30's future from mycom:

ENGLISHISH: "Digression when you inquire about the directivity of future Fab 30, after 65nm process of Fab 36 stands up basically first, although being about probably to become, it is the prospect that to the production of the 65nm/300mm wafer it converts probably will be after all."

ENGLISH: Let us consider the future of Fab 30. The 65nm process will be brought up first at Fab 36, but it is thought to be likely that the 65nm process on 300mm wafers will be produced there eventually.
