"He's using the old "I forgot" defence which didn't work during Watergate ... It worked for Reagan and as it turns out, we now know his memory was giving him problems at the time. Plamegate is one of those things that people just role their eyes over. The whole issue looks like an act of despiration by extremists attempting to make tornadoes out of hiccups. Valerie was innoperative and working at a desk. You guys make her sound like 007 in the middle of a world crisis. What ever it was that got her name out was probably not malicious, did not put her at any personal risk, and was definitely inconsequencial to our nation's security. The issue is obviously only important to self serving partisans, which makes it an annoyance to everyone else. If annoying people gets votes, you may be on the right track.
