Good post Hawk. Ahmadinejad smells weakness and speaks accordingly and harnesses the nationalism of the young. What the young should be looking at is chinas prosperity and not the nationalism of wasted regimes. Chinese learned that lesson at some point. I have heard the sistani thing before and thats a good idea too. Internationally we need to convince the soviets and red chinese where there interests lie. Did i say soviets and red chinese? (g) Intesting that Israel launched a spy satellite from russian soil. As i said to Sun and this is the one thing he refused to address---there are three issues with iran, not just one. They are nukes, rejectionism in israel/pal war and meddling in iraq to make US job harder. All three must be linked and dealt with together. You cant solve nuke problem and leave iran as the interational terror state meddling especially in those two places. OTOH, you cant really solve the other issues if this regime obtains nukes.
