Similarities only geographical. Lebanon was the financial capital of the Middle East. It developed as a result of 2.500 of Phoenician DNA. Traders by heart people.

Three things happened. Some interests "torpedoed" Lebanon

1) perhaps supplying the means to start a turmoil. Which in this part of the world is very easy.

2) population grew too fast. Too many unemployed youngsters with no escape valve...

3) Putting Israel nearby was not that clever idea either

We have to keep in mind that the British knowing they were losing, they left everything on disarray…They left in dessary and ungovernable. One the bureaucrats -who ran the colonies- losing the cushy jobs were sour to lose the teat. Two, in disarray they kept divided and kept their interests.

Taking clones Australia, Canada and New Zealand, they were unable to create new civilizations.

Portugal succeeded with only one: Brazil. Brand new type of man. With everything that characterize the land new. I'm not sayin they created a Garden Of Eden, I just say it is there and do not ressemble any other country.

Do you find any Elmat tyep of guy in other country?

The Brits left in disarray the whole African ex-colonies, the whole Caribbean. Point anywhere a Union Jack was planted during the Brit empire and I point you to a troubled spot.

Again only the clones Canada, Australia and New Zealand prospered.

Palestine, Iraq, South Africa, Nigeria...

It is a simple statement:

Brits can't create anything new. They could just transplant

Since this place here was Brit split, it doesn't augur well for their future.
