As necessary as the war may be in any event, IMHO, an overriding fact is that the money long ago paid into Social Security could fix/fund it pretty much relatively FOREVER!

Social Security problems do not bear on any war in Iraq. No war could harm Social Security had it been an honestly administered program (not that it couldn't fail anyway, someday).
