Illegals dont cost 50 billion a year. Who told you that? Its based on a report done for Lou Dobbs. You would be surprised how many freebies illegals get in this country. Maybe they do cost billions, but a lot less than that. Plus almost every illegal works like a dog. They don't sit around waiting for hand-outs. Manual labor is manual labor. Anyone doing manual labor looks like they are working like a dog when you sit behind you PC all day with the AC on. Anyway let's face it, if you need to hire a gardener's assistant, maid and ditch-digger for $12,000 a year each with no benefits, where else can you go? In cities where there are not a lot of illegals.......surprise.........you don't hire illegals. And if you want to place blame, Bush is the one defending the corporate boss's need for cheap illegal Mexican labor. All those pretty Republican golf courses and gated communities, guess who makes them so pristine? Not to mention how much more our produce would cost, etc. etc. The blame goes way back beyond Bush. Bush has done enough bad stuff without putting this on his doorstep too. You and your condo complex are part of the problem. We all are. We think we are saving money by using illegals. Like I said, another bad addiction. And nothing, absolutely nothing is for free.
