Arena last night named his 23-man squad for the tournament but Alberto's revelation today ups the pressure even further on the other nations' bosses, many of whom are still deciding on who will even be making the trip to Germany, let alone start the first game. And it is not only the premature timing of his comments that will strike fear into his counterparts' hearts but also the formidable strength of the XI that will actually take to the field in just over one month's time. Alberto told reporters today that the line-up will be the same as that which started Brazil's final World Cup qualifier against Venezuela in October. This means the magic four – Ronaldo, Adriano, Kaka and the stand-out best player in the world Ronaldinho – will all start against Croatia, a revelation that is sure to give their coach Zlatko 'Cico' Kranjcar substantial pre-kick off nightmares. Dida will start in goal, Cafu, Juan, Lucio and Roberto Carlos will make up the back four, while Emerson and Ze Roberto will sit just in front to provide cover for the offensive-minded quartet. The Brazil boss also took time to emphasise that Ronaldinho will not be asked to relinquish any of his attacking flair in favour of a more defensive team mindset, a criticism that has been levied against Alberto by the media during qualifying. 'It's absurd to say that he plays differently in the national team and Barcelona because of his positioning,' Alberto said. 'He has complete freedom in the Brazil team. 'The difference is that, when he plays for his club, he has the stage to himself and in the national team he has to divide it with other stars.'
