Clarke testified under oath he got a call from the White House chief of staff or Powell's office. It is completely unrealistic that he would make such a critical decision unilaterally. Also, Prince Bandar had just met with Bush the day before and Clarke said under oath that the request came from the Saudi Embassy, which means Bandar.

Quit defending these crooked bastards.

Clarke also testified under oath that right after 9-11, Bush told him to find a way to blame it on Iraq. Remember that one?
