Hello Pezz, Today's Report:

I am terribly conflicted, to the extent that I ...

(a) bought a few physical gold American Eagle coins while on way to bus stop to head home, in effort to save some of the paper money in wallet, and to help balance out global trade, and

(b) Sold the last 1/6 (5/6 sold here Message 22415728 ) of my paper gold hoard, for, of all paper, HK$.

Final tally for this paper gold tael trade Message 22331264 and this Message 22294090 is 13.92% over 1.5 months.

Good enough, for now.

This is yet another one of those many moments when, if I could, I would off load all gold. But, alas, I cannot, and so I hold on to my physical for dear life, as one would a coconut palm, at the onset of a tsunami, when it is too early to die and too late to run.

I could do something clever tonight, like buy puts on gold shares, perhaps with proceeds from selling naked calls on the same. But I will not, for after all, I do not know what will happen, not for sure.

OTOH, should silver go down tonight, as it ought to, I will be a buyer.

Chugs, J

P.S. seriously considering changing base accounting currency to ounces/taels of gold, which would lessen urge to trade against the same base currency.

Hello Pezz, Today's Report:

(a) Sold Petro Brasil finance.yahoo.com at USD 96.97, bought here Message 19598704 at USD 26.96; claiming outrageous goodness, and not outstaying welcome

(b) Sold Metalline finance.yahoo.com at 3.88, bought here Message 22429970, claim a bit, and will look back at some point

(c) Added silver SLV finance.yahoo.com @ 132.68

Refrained from doing anything dramatic, just trimming here and there, and then take a look.

Chugs, J
