I dont quite understand why it is so, but its true, also Blacks from other nations are basically just as industrious as most whites. My wife is a nurse, we have many black friends from Nigeria, Jamiaca and the like, they are all hard working. On the other hand the American Black too often is looking for the easy way out. Before anyone calls me a racist, I guess I should point out I used to date a haitian, learned a heck of a lot about that country. For instance, Haiti is the most Cosmopolitan nation on earth, with all sorts of Nationalities mixed into their blood line. The girl I dated was nearly as white as myself, her sister black as the ace of spades and all colors in between. jdn

GZ, Jessie jackson sucks. I agree. But the history goes back hundreds of years as i explained in a post to jdn. Problem is that you as a boss needs to hire the best worker. How do we crack the legacy of slavery, jim crowe and welfare dependency is a question i cant answer. What really galls me is liberal acceptance of or just failure to criticise "black culture"--rap, lousy english, gangsterism etc. And of course some cons lack of understanding the history bothers me too. How do you wean a people off the dependency of govt prisons, govt jobs, welfare, crime, dreams of a rap or basketball career, drugs and just as important how do you stop the spread of these dependencies to other groups both in the US and around the world?
