"Socialist" programs? LOL Like Social Security and Medicare which WE PAY FOR UPFRONT but WHICH THE BUSHIE CORPORATE PIRATES ARE TRYING TO PRIVATIZE, SKIM AND PLUNDER? Shame on you for calling the best programs in this country "socialist". Or if that's true, fine then we need more socialism. Including nationalizing the oil companies, which will probably never happen but which we need desperately. Canada has a much better health care system than we do, and so does western Europe. The stats just came out showing we are at the bottom in terms of infant mortality in the western world. That is a disgrace. Clinton gave us a boom economy and surpluses on top of it. The huge Bush deficits exist because of his huge tax cuts for the rich, his glee in never vetoing a single spending bill, no matter how much pork is in it, his reckless occupation of Iraq and the fact that Bushies love letting their corporate cronies gouge the US taxpayer and consumer every which way. Cheney's own company Halliburton alone has stolen about a billion bucks. So that's where the money goes.
