There really is no disputing the fact that Saddam's Iraq and al Qaeda were linked. Even senior Officials of the Clinton Administration confirmed, that they believed al Qaeda and Iraq were working together (to the 9-11 Commission).

There is even strong evidence that Iraq was involved with al Qaeda affiliates in attacks against Americans. What there is no proof of, is that Iraq was involved specifically with the 9-11 attack. So if one believes that this is the sole justification for invading Iraq, then the proof isn't there.
