OT

I just believe from looking around that the success rate has to be much lower in the 3-4 years going back.....a tough window to start a business IMO.

I remember watching a report where a small business owner had gas bills (for their truck for their business) of about $900 a month. This was a very small business and it was obvious that was hurting him. Multiply that by many thousands, and I think the big picture comes into focus more.

Ian McAvity, the author of Toronto based Deliberations who is quoted in the above chart, considers this is a strategically important point in the Nasdaq. He predicts a top of 2,200 (+/-10%) which would cap the Nasdaq for the next decade or two.
