<What is under dispute is any unjustified assertion that a new understanding must or will encompass classical physics.>

All I ever said was that that is what is being looked for, for which you cried... pseudoscience balderdash!

<It will if it exists and if it is discovered.>

This is a prime example of you doing your own leg worked... you just negated dozens of your own posts asserting I didn't know what I was talking about. That's why you look lazy to me... you don't go figure stuff out before asserting someone doesn't know what they're talking about! It's worse than lazy, cause you hang out and claim you know it to be bull.

<This is irrelevant to the search for a TOE.>

It was relevant to the above which you've now backed off of....

<"The point was to demonstrate the range of scientific papers in the study of consciousness">

Yea, and you included all the stuff you used to call "pseudoscience"... so a double 'flip flop' tonight... we're getting somewhere!!

WAIT!! A TRIPLE flip flop!! Look at this:

<the holy grail for physicists, the long-sought theory which would explain the nature and behavior of all matter. In physics, the forces between objects can be described as mediated by fields. Current theory says that at subatomic distances, these fields are replaced by quantum fields interacting according to the laws of quantum mechanics."">

<<<It is an opinion shared by all scientists. That is why they continue to look for a TOE>>

Wowa... so you're saying that a "unified theory" will be a ""COMPLETE paradigm shift"" and not come out of current theory! But a dozen posts ago, when I mentioned that possibility in science you said it was hogwash.

Oh, it's quite a nite. Alas... even in a paradigm shift, there is reason to think that one level of understanding holds clues to the next level... so you assertion no scientist would look at QM seem silly... especially with all the interest 'fractals' are causing!!
