You're totally deluded. Bush has slipped because of gross corruption, failure to execute his plan in Iraq, general dishonesty, lies about WMD exposed, incompetence proven by Katrina, idoicy proven by nominating Harriet Miers and piumping for Dubai on the ports deal, an "F" grade on Homeland Security, Bush's top lieutenants are being indicted one by one for disgusting behavior, botched attempts to "reform" Social Security and Medicare, outrageous deficits and the fact that the economy benefits only the top 2% and not much of anyone else.

Illegal immigration has been around for 100 years. True, Bush supports it and has done nothing, but neither have any other presidents.

As for Hillary, she may not even be running in 2008, but if she is she knows damn well she makes democrats nervous. She may be like Lieberman and not win a single primary though early polls showed them both ahead. The real candidates in 2008 are Warner, Kerry and Gore (if he runs). I don't think anyone can beat those two or three, including Hillary, no matter how much money she raises. Also Condi Rice is more likely to be indicted than to run for president. If she's smart she'll resign soon and become a college professor, something she's actually qualified to do.

Ann, I have to completely agree with the below:

siliconinvestor.com

However, AS failed to mention the paid government stories in the media, political hacks editing scientific news releases and blocking the timely release of scientific papers, foot-dragging on environmental issues when mid-westerners, long used to 'em, are wondering, "why all these deadly tornados?" and Gulf State citizens wondering "why all these hurricanes?" And then there was the prescription drug bill raping of the elderly in deference to the hungry phamaceutical corps--remember elderly vote in the greatest percentages (why do most of 'em vote Democrat?).

No, Ann. I wish it weren't this way as I'd certainly like to respect my president. But Bush's numbers are the clear result of the fraudulent actions his Administration has placed on the American people. It has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with the immigration issue.
