Sure they do. Else they wouldn't have been developed. Manufacturers are always trying to maximize certain characteristics, and a small transistor size is just one of them.

They have slated high-k and metal gates. These are major changes to the way chips are made. One of them would be risky enough, two quadruples the risk. And then to do it on a tight development schedule means they are rushing.
