Bush has decimated our military and our CIA is in tatters. When Bush talks about using the National Guard one has to cringe. The Guard is exhausted, depleted and deserves a year or two of rest. They weren't there for Katrina because they were all in Iraq. And the measly 6000 Bush plans to put on the border are probably just back from their third tour of Iraq. No one and nothing has hurt our military more than Bush's mismanagement of it, which is why nearly every credible ex-general and ex-CIA operator who can speak up is speaking up and denouncing what the Bushies have done.
