Hollywood receives Al Gore, documentary on global warming modbee ^ \| 5/16/6 Hollywood rolled out the green carpet Tuesday for former U.S. Vice President Al Gore and his global warming documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth." Actors and activists joined in celebrating Gore's film, which argues global warming is imminent and potentially catastrophic. Actors including Sharon Stone, David Duchovny from the "X-Files," "Curb Your Enthusiasm" co-star Larry David and comedian Garry Shandling attended showing, where guests walked a green carpet instead of the traditional red. "It's just the environment and planet, that's all," said Shandling. He joked that people don't pay enough attention to global warming because "they are focused on TV."
