The whole package has always been a problem when buying an AMD notebook and only recently has gotten significantly better. There have been much fewer selections of AMD notebooks than Intel notebooks. Finding an AMD notebook with just the right specs (screen size, memory capacity, hard drive size and RPM, manufacturer, price, etc.) is more difficult when shopping for an AMD system. Fortunately more Turion systems are on the shelves now. But Turion X2 will probably be somewhat rare in the next few months while Core Duos will be just about everywhere.
