:-)
No.
Only my son really likes soy milk. I buy Organic cow milk- they have it now at Costco- though I think it is 2%. For non-fat you have to go somewhere like Trader Joes or Whole Foods.

Hey KR-- we made the switch to organic when CW got sick and I swear it tastes better. It IS expensive, though. There are a lot of theories floating around about the effects of the added hormones in cowmilk on growing girls. A doctor friend of mine believes it could be a cause of the increase in breast cancer. It may not be proven yet, but why risk it. As a teen, she doesn;t need more hormones swirling around anyway.

I second E's opinion on swimming. Mine were on swimteams all their lives and never had any skin problems (and neither did their friends now that I think about it) and when they had a zit it dried up quickly. All those chemicals are good for something.

The boys ate huge breakfasts after swim, but I admit it was mostly cereal and milk (NO sugared cereals though), with grainy bread French toast some days, and eggs when I got ambitious. No meat, and fresh fruit was always put out. Because they really cared about their bodies for swim, they voluntarily stayed away from carbonated drinks, sugar, and McD's. Much more effective if they make the decision, and not mom or dad. Also I have never cooked with prepared food but always from scratch, and I never fried anything. Dunno if that made a difference or not. Because they swam every day, I doubt they EVER cleaned their faces.

Acne is just devastating for a young person. I hope you find some solutions. I do think she has to buy into the program. At least if she could experiment with trying a month of the changes to see if it made a difference?
Is she a swimmer? Do you have a pool, or belong to a club? I really do think that might help.
