"As it is now, there is little to no incentive to do the right thing." That type of over confidence by the elite, powerful, and corrupt few is exactly what will bring their downfall. The people who move change, and bring about renewal are people who are not comfortable with the status quo, have time to think, and the will to act. That is 'the right thing.' The fact that there aren't representatives noble enough to do the right thing is revealing all by itself. The current status quo is tolerance for corruption by our representation. I'm getting real uncomfortable with that ... you?
