That graph did not enumerate against shipping volumes but, mix.

Yes, Pete, 50% of INTEL's Xeon DPs in Q3 will be Woodcrest-based.

Yes, you'll have to apply Intel's marketshare, and the size of the 2S-capable CPU market to come up with the exact units.

All that chart says is that Intel expects volume to go down in a hurry for 2S Xeon servers.

Very good points Pete. There is not way in HELL that the x86 SERVER market is going to convert to 75% Woodcrest by end Q4 (2 shipping quarters).

Even with AMD at 30% of the server market (quite possible at end of Q2), that would mean that 52% of the worldwide x86 server market would have qualified/validated Woodcrest- a brand new microarchitecture in 2 shipping quarters.

That's insane. Intel is blowing so much smoke someone's skirt, it's not even funny.
