None of the foreign policies of this administration appear to be a strategic attempt to find peace in the ME; these all look like a transfer of public wealth to private companies.

1... Peace requires more than the efforts of one side of the conflict/dispute. (takes two to tango).

2. When you ponder the interests of private companies (presumably US), one wonders why NO ONE seems to ponder the interests of the companies/entities on the other side of the dispute..

I constantly hear rancor and disgust levied against US corporations, and the claim that all of these wars in the Mid-East are on the behalf of "big oil"..

But just is supporting the Islamo-Fascists and other anti-western governments in the region?? Who criticized Total-Fina and Lukoil for their attempts to prop up Saddam in Iraq? Who's criticizing the Chinese in Sudan?

And what do THEY have to gain from doing so?

Btw, thanks for the links.. I'll try and check them out over the coming days.

Hawk

It's really worked out great for the chimp Caesar. He's bought off the less economically well off of his supporters with chump change tax cuts while giving himself and his buds the lions share, and had his loser little war, all financed by foreign debt. The only Americans feeling any real pain right NOW are the soldiers, and most Americans have no connection with them. Just as "the next President" will have to clean up his Iraq mess, he'll also have to begin to pay for it, and the tax cuts.

We don't need any outside threats to do us in, our own greed and stupidity exploited by evil, venal men is doing the job just fine.
