Iran may already possess a nuclear bomb but is "smart" enough to pretend to be on the way to achieving nuclear capability so that it could induce concessions from the international community, an Israeli nuclear expert has claimed.

Now how could that happen with the "watchful and prying eyes" of the IAEA closely monitoring their activities???!!!!!

And my gosh.. how is that going to alter the balance of power in that region??

And I wonder why the following statement is so very true?

The Iranians, in terms of threats, are smarter than everyone. They threaten with a bomb and the world gives them anything they want, as long as they dont throw the bomb", the expert said.

"Being offered a reward instead of a punishment testifies to the fact that they are very smart," he added.

What kind of political thinking creates the impression amongst these dictators that they can get away with this kind of international blackmail??

Don't we have a strong and vigorous international treaty system that is supposed to take a strong stand against such violations??

Hmmm...

I noticed the N. Koreans did the same thing with Carter and Clinton back in 1994.. We promised to give them two light water reactors and 500,000 metric tonnes of annual fuel oil supplies.

And then we discover that they had completely RENEGED on their obligations and proceeded with nuclear weapons production ANYWAY!!

And I loved how Carter in 2003, did a 180, and told us we had to form a regional multi-lateral negotiating platform and absolutely prevent N. Korea from developing nuclear weapons:
