Some of them did come to this country illegally. The majority, I suspect, came in through proper channels. I know I had two relatives who stowed away on a boat from Ireland to New York. They were sent back when they were caught leaving the ship.<g>

They are coming in because we are throwing dollars at them. Just because $50 doesnt seem like a lot to us, for folks who are making $5 at home, it seems like a fortune. We get work done here at minimum wage or below and they are able to give their families a better life whether here or there. This is Ross Perot's giant sucking sound in reverse. Why do you feel the need to make slurs against these folks. You want someone to go after, go after the business folks who offer these jobs and stop complaining if the price of your lettuce goes up a nickel. Its so easy to be a "know nothing", isnt it?
