That's an interesting thought. I would have said he was unelectable, being damaged goods- but you may be right. If the press treats him as a comeback kid, and as the alternative to Bush that the voters (mistakenly) passed up- he might indeed win. I think the press, after several years of Bush, may be less inclined to rough up someone like Gore- who is at least not Bush, or a Bush-like entity. It will be interesting. I sure prefer him to Kerry or Hillary. I really hope neither of them is the choice of the democratic party.
