Yep, it would be particularly suited to certain server/workstation workloads. It would also presumably mean that Clovertown, in Q107, could present as 8 logical cores.

Freecableguy has added a post, simply saying that HT2 is Intel's biggest secret.

Quite a secret weapon, if this is right.
