RTS,

I saw numbers awhile back showing the numbers of viewers CNBC has(think it was about 6 months ago), and believe me when I say it dropped precipitously from late 99/2000 levels.

I honestly believe that many are now simply putting their $$ into their homes believing that **this** tree will grow to the sky, or into commoditios believing that **this** tree will grow to the sky, or blindly into mutual funds, and are not "into" the market as they once were.

I believe this on a logical level after what happened in 2000, and also from anecdotal evidence I see and hear everyday.

I am not sure how much time it will take before people take a genuine interest in the stock market again, but it could be awhile. How long after 1929 did people really start talking about the stock market again? I don't know the answer to that, but I will bet it was not 5 years later for the population as a whole.

Regards,

Brian
