Well, okay, but you really can't say "it won't work," it certainly will work, but I don't think it's an "either or" type situation... here's how it will work: if a known terrorist suspect is captured, it will be immediately known what phone numbers he called, and those numbers can be tracked easily to expose an entire network... this is not a major expense, just a strategy among many tools of strategies in the bag of things our intel can do... it's not eavesdropping in any way... yet, left wing politicians are bemoaning that our privacy is being violated... this is nonsense, I'm more concerned about identity theft by computer hackers than our government catching terrorists...
