Every vote count, over and over in 2000, came in with Bush-Cheney ahead. Gore's lawyers wanted to count and recount almost every single county in Florida -- but just the Democratic counties. In 2004, Bush won by a significant margin, thus validating the 2000 Supreme Court decision.
