Some adjustments to risk profile might be within sectors, like this -

In Gold

Safest - NEM, GG Newmont and Goldcorp - These guys makes loads even at $500 gold, and are multi country.

Medium - FCX Freepot McMoran Low Cost, but ONE big mine in Indonesia.

Risky - heavy Peru exposure, high costs of bad hedges ABX Barrick, lots of smaller players

*********

So we might see a shift to larger, lower cost, multi-country, and more stable country mines.

We can see a similar event for energy.

This would not be a bad outcome, as the riskier and more obscure stocks would be pushed down to chaep levels.
