There is nothing stopping housing from being repriced. Demand slows, supply rises and prices come down. A bunch of people feel the pain and the salad days of cash out refinancing are gone. I don't expect to see a bottom in housing until a few more years have passed. In the meantime, hang on to you hat for the deflating dollar bubble and higher rates and higher inflation associated with the end of the dollar bubble. On the other hand, the end of the "strong dollar" -- or the beginning of the weak dollar if you prefer -- will be with us for the rest of our lives wit no end in sight and substantial lasting pain.
