Buggi, I find it incredibly hard to believe that Intel would have eliminated ALL their leveraging mechanisms (preferable OEM pricing is obviously only one; others are volume threshold discount; another is marketing benefits; etc...). Without eliminating the others there's still plenty of control to exercise. I'm not even sure yet that Intel really did change their pricing strategy. If it has however it would influence my confidence level in possibly getting rid of some of the other mechanisms too.

OTOH if there would be a time over recent years that Intel best can eliminate their anti competitive measures it's right now (pressure of lawsuit, probable requests from OEM's like HP, very good product line as of NGA intro).
