The unemployment rate under Clinton wasn't a point lower than it is now. The unemployment figures release in April where 4.7% (and the rate has been going down so it might be lower now). The average unemployment rate under Clinton was enough higher than 4/7% that you would apparently consider it to be "significantly higher" at least if you apply the same standards to Clinton that you did to Bush. This is Bush's 6th year. The unemployment during Clinton's 6th year was very close to unemployment rate today.

But he had nearly balanced the budget by then, we were pretty much at peace, the economy was firing on all cylinders (in contrast to what GOPers had predicted), the Balkan war was under control, and he was doing it with an adversarial house. Not bad for a sexual deviant.

Bush's unemployment numbers are much higher than 5%. Try like 25%. They stopped counting tens of millions of Americans who are no longer looking for work. Many of those people are living off low-interest loans, semi-employed, have no health insurance, or are scrimping and mooching. Under CLinton there were many more jobs, and better ones. Clinton's economy was also deficit free. Which is the biggest factor of all. Bush's is all debt spending.

If you open the link below, there is a graph.....the graph shows unemployment dipping below 4%.

You grow more pathetic with each passing day. You are all about your ideology and not what's good for this country, a trait very typical of your cohort.
