Again, that's why I posted it to you, it supports your position more than mine, so I thought you would be interested.

The other side of the coin is that we've been through this before... and it didn't stick. Remember the 4.5% and 25% thing? 4.5% population, 25% consumption? We need much more than a slight change in behaviour.

Norway is the third largest exporter of oil in the world but Norwegians pay some of highest prices at the gas pump. Coincidently, or maybe not so coincidently, Norway has one of the highest standards of living in the world and one of the soundest economies in the world......beating out this country hands down. I don't expect you to understand their philosophy.....after all, its probably as foreign to you as voting for GW Bush is to me, but there is a message in there somewhere for you.
