well, here is the news for you - hardware is a small fraction of IT spendings in any decent size corporation.

There are reasons why companies may not be willing to do a switch but not because of the hardware cost .....

Now you're learning how corporate images work - keep in mind that every available chip, Celeron, Turion, Pentium 4, Sempron, etc. has been AMD64 compatable for quite a while, so the installed base is mostly ready for Windows 64.

Everything except that piece of crap Core and Core Duo....
