Don't you find it "laughable" how Intel pushes the press to
release benches way before launch? Seems like AMD has to
make the same with FX64/66 and/or Quad Core.

Desperate Moves the last times - Intel has to feel their

Not sure that's exactly what you intended to post.

Seems there is growing skepticism around the Conroe demos. Seems that there is question as to whether the "veiled" software used by INTC in the tests is the only software that they could get to run.

As well, chipsets it seems, may be more than a modest issue, but then again, INTC can cover that off with its perpetual chipset shortage excuse ;-)

Why does Intel have to control the benchmarking environment? It is not an objective review methodology with Intel controlling the systems and software. Credibility is seriously in question.
