Allen, all we can go by are the SAT scores and grades. Bush outsmarted Kerry during the campaign and won, again. If you want to think that Kerry is smarter go right ahead, ignore the scores.

Is it possible that Kerry simply mis-spoke? Is it possible that he meant to say "President-elect Nixon"?

Kerry obviously mis-spoke, but he couldn't have meant "President-elect Nixon" because Nixon didn't make any statements about American troops in Cambodia until he was President.

Kerry just got the details of when Nixon made the statement vis-a-vis when he was supposed to be in Cambodia wrong. Easy to do when you are telling tall tales for political effect.
