Now do you see a pattern developing here of how history has been marred and misalligned to suit anyone who had the power with a selfish aim in promoting a "belief" and distorting or destroying true history?

Of course. And I have seen the pattern for many years. My belief in Christ helps me understand the darkness of the selfish aims of men, especially in religious leaders. I am a recent victim of it, as the pastor of the church in which I served for the last two decades came to me late last year to silence me because I began to speak out against the celebrity teachers that many of our people were foolishly in love with. My appeals to him afterward to wake up and address this corruption from the pulpit were finally met with an ad hominem response. Am I hurt by it? Yes. Am I all that surprised that it happened? No, because the New Testament writers have armed us to the teeth with the fact that apostasy would be the order of the day in this age.

You as an outsider see things that should be policed by us internally. But, when one of us tries, we are left out in the cold and that right fast.

I am not swayed by what happened, only grieved that I no longer have access to good people under his care that are not going to hear the warnings they need.
