I think that hope is premature indeed.

It looks like AMD is going to ramp 45nm at Fab38 and may then retool Fab36 again as they do with Fab36 at 65nm/300mm and Fab30.

Looks like a smart approach, saving on the brick and mortar expenses.

Also interesting is Ruiz' claim that he still expects the momentum to increase (as well as demand, obviously). He seems rather unconcerned that Intel can stop market share erosion, or even slow it.

I believe they consider increasing fab space at 36, moving bump and test out, and switching fab 30 to 300 to be the three prongs.
